When looking for A Chicago Short Sales Realtor or Suburban Short Sales realtor to work with, there are a few things you should know about these Suburban and Chicago short sales realtors. There are several different types of short sales realtors I have encountered. I have broken them down into 4 different tyeps
Type A)
This Chicago Short Sales Realtor knows absolutely Nothing about short sales and is learning as they go.. But they dont let their clients know this.. They take a short sale listing and hope for the best
Type B)
This Chicago short sales realtor doesnt have much short sales experience but did take a few 1 days courses and now calls themselves a Short Sale "Expert" .... How can anyone be a expert at anything after taking a 2 day course? Several of the realtor designations are nothing more than money making opportunies for national and local real estate boards...
Type C)
This Chicago short sales realtor has alot of short sale experience and knows what he/she is doing and how the short sale system operates.. These realtors generally have closed a good amount of transactions for their clients or for other realtors who dont know how to handle short sales. but they leave the majority of the negotiating with the banks to a third party (ie. short sale attorney)
Type D)
This Chicago short sales realtor has alot of short sales experience and is a true short sales expert.. They handle all aspects of the short sales transaction: From listing the home to negotiating with the banks directly..
Obviously you want to work with the Type C and Type D Chicago Short Sales realtors when trying to sell your home as a short sale. Either Type C or Type D would do a good job for you!
